GJIHC Quebec Pee-Wee Tournament Blog 2019

 

Guildford U13s team for 2019 participated in the Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. GJIHC is the only English club attending this world-renowned ice hockey tournament for 2019.  The blog here captures our attendance at the tournament and the fantastic memories that we have been able to give our players.

 

It took 13 months of planning and we have to thank all involved for the time and effort that was put in to make this possible.

This tournament is a once in a lifetime tournament for any junior ice hockey player and we feel very privileged to have been accepted to attend. The tournament covers ten days and has teams from all over the world attending and an audience of over 200,000 spectators, plus extensive media coverage.

Many of the NHL greats have participated in the Pee-Wee tournament during their careers and the tournament has created thousands of fantastic memories for the 11 and 12 year players that have attended.
