Safe Guarding
At Guildford Junior Ice Hockey club our aim is to provide a safe and fun environment for all. All of our Coaches, managers, an other relevant club officials under go background checks and undertake safeguarding training to help enable us to achieve this. We have policies in place to assist us and provide a framework for the club to follow if there are any concerns raised.
Contacting the GJIHC Designated Safeguarding Lead
If you need to report any issues or concerns or wish the club's Designated Safeguarding Lead to contact you in relation to a safeguarding issue then please submit the details using the Report It button below
Please note that you will be required to provide an email address as a minimum when using the form below to provide a means of contact. All information submitted is sent securely and direct to the club's Designated Safeguarding Lead only.
This method of contact is not an emergency service.
If you have a concern about a child who is at significant risk of harm or immediate danger, call the local Authority Children’s Safeguarding Board (of the area in which the child lives) who have a 24-hour helpline and/or 999.
If you have a concern about a vulnerable adult who is at significant risk of harm or immediate danger, call 999.
For all of the above, when it safe and appropriate to do so we ask that you also contact the club's Designated Safeguarding Lead using the Report It button, or via contact the contact details circulated to members.
