Guildford Flames Junior Training Programme
The Guildford Flames Junior Training Programme is a registered charity, established in 1997, to support local young people in learning and participating in ice hockey.
The charity can provide assistance to any Guildford Junior Ice Hockey Club player under the age of 19 who may be struggling to meet the costs of the sport.
If you feel you may need help, please speak to your Team Manager, who can connect you with the charity’s Trustees.
How to Apply
Applications must be made in writing (by email or letter) from a parent or guardian of the player.
Where players are over 16 and living independently, they may submit a request themselves.
Examples of Support Provided
In the past, the charity has helped players by:
Contributing to monthly ice fees
Assisting with travel costs for games or tournaments
Providing help with equipment
Supporting young people to get involved in officiating or coaching
Offering additional coaching activities to benefit all players
